Promoting Chinese Culture and Telling Chinese Stories

Mechanist Games has always adhered to a philosophy of inclusion and continuous improvement while implementing China’s national strategy for the new era of "telling the Chinese story and spreading the Chinese voice". Mechanist has successively created a number of works that integrate Chinese traditional culture and have launched them in international markets with positive market results.

The company’s first mobile game, Dream Raiders, launched in 2015 and incorporated characters from the Chinese classics Journey to the West and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. In the company’s most popular product, Game of Sultans, traditional Chinese costumes and character images are commonly displayed. With the establishment of the BRICS Innovation Base in Xiamen in 2020, the company took the opportunity to set up the Game of Khans project. The story is based on the history of China's Yuan Dynasty and Mongolian culture, incorporating a lot of Chinese cultural elements such as traditional costumes, festivals, foods, and so on. The project was officially launched in 2021 and ranked 8th place in downloads for the Russian market in the first week of launch. The products of Mechanist Games have not only established a good nationalized brand image overseas and spread Chinese culture to the outside world, but have also helped aid in the construction of the Xiamen BRICS Innovation Base and Xiamen National Cultural Export Base, practicing China’s national cultural strategy for the new era in a practical and measurable manner.
