Sharing Session with the CEO for the Gen Zs

Turning 22 this year, the Generation Z has officially graduated from schools and became working adults. Moving from the campus to the workplace, it has been a great change to the Gen Zs. Mechanist Games held a face-to-face sharing session for the fresh graduates with our CEO.

Joey, the CEO of Mechanist Games, discussed the development of the industry, answered graduates’ doubts about the career and workplace. We hope that all the graduates could have a better understanding of the company after the sharing session.

01 - A New Role


From the campus to the workplace, graduates have to adapt to the change of role-play and environment quickly. They need to realize personal value in the position, and make contributions to the company at the same time.


02 - Become a Fast Learner


Learning is the foundation of all abilities, also the best way to progress in the workplace. Mastering proper working methods, taking the initiative to undertake work, having the courage to challenge, and cultivating one's own problem-solving awareness and independent thinking ability are effective ways for graduates to grow at work.


03 - Future Development Trend of the Game Industry


Entertainment industry sectors, such as the game industry, are developing in a volatile environment. From 2020 to 2021, it was a great growth for the entire game industry. The development slowed down in 2022. However, the market is not as pessimistic as expected. It can be better in the long run as long as the young generation likes games, the industry will continue to develop and grow. Mechanist adheres to overseas markets, makes use of its advantages to produce good games. We wish everything goes well in all the graduates’ career and looking forward to having them joining the Mechanist.

Positive Mindset in the Workplace


Fresh graduates have to integrate into a new social environment when joining the workforce. They must establish a positive mindset in the workplace. Mia, the Human Resource Director of the Mechanist Games, has shared three tips.


01 - Correct understanding of Characters and Behaviors

· Respect and accept different personalities and behavioral styles;

· When communicating with others, avoid the communication method that they least like it;

· Know yourself and respect others.


02 - How to Establish a Positive Mindset

· Learn to deal with negative emotions and bad feelings;

· Try to solve problems by yourself first before simply asking for help;

· Do not be self-centered, maintain your positive attitude and behaviors.


03 - How to Remain Positive

· Take positive actions to adjust emotions;

· Utilize the company's supporting resources - interest groups, Mechanist Park, EAP programs and other existing resources to comfort yourself and embrace positive emotions;

· Work hard and play hard!
